For the longest time I've been wondering why most mainstream minded people continue to agree to fall victim to the hamster wheel of life that they fundamentally disagree with. Quite philosophical question or statement, isn't it? Generally, throughout my years of employee development, training and consulting, I've never quite understood why most individuals place their dreams, hopes and desires onto second rank to remain caught in an environment that, quite frankly, annoys the living daylights out of them. Walking down the isles of several corporations that I've worked for, looking into the eyes of most employees, there was oftentimes a dim fire of desire, but primarily darkness and disillusion was the main expression. Saddening. There's too much potential in most people to just remain like that. There's too much Adrenaline in their dreams, ideas and concepts. Instead of working "for the man", branch out, try something for yourself, get that Adrenaline rushing, bring the excitement to the table, thrive on your conviction, love what you do... Welcome to Adrenalinc.com - Adrenaline Inc. So, what is it about, you may ask? It's about following your passions. Attempting to live of something that's purely driven by your desires, hopes and dreams. It's about the rush to fail, but equally about the euphoria to succeed. Failure. The crux of all progress. Most attempts fail before they even got started. Some say, it's the fear of success, the fear of "what is my next goal after I succeed?" Others say; "I can't risk that much", and decide to keep dreaming the "what if" proposition. Now, before this turns into one of the usual pep talks about what you truly can and cannot do, I rather get to what this site, the Adrenalinc Project, my dream is about. Adrenalinc is my version of staying in the red zone. The zone where you're determined, focused, driven, passionate, and where it's purely about the ride, and never about the destination. It's about MY dream. My ride, My accountability to actually go out there and practice what I usually preach. You see, as a professional development coach, I'm doing very well in getting others to perform at peak levels. Motivating them to do things they questioned prior to talking to me about their dreams and desires. It's time to step into their shoes and start one thing that I've always wanted to do: Adrenalinc.com - a Project that is solely dedicated to the rush of adrenaline that you're experiencing when you're passionate about something,...anything. Whether this be doing spreadsheets (NOT!), skydiving or, as in our case, motorcycling through the country, or aviation, etc. Stay tuned for our version of Adrenaline! MJ
