Towards the end of August, it's time to hit the road again. This time, the tour might lead us from North Dakota to Maine to Arizona and back to North Dakota. Roughly 4500 miles, or more - depending on detours, planned and unplanned.

The primary idea is to explore and document...but, also to grab a fresh lobster in Maine and ride the coastal roads down towards NY. From there, turn West through the state of NY, PA, OH, KY, TN, etc. to arrive in Arizona.

The way up North lays out the Grand Canyon, Rockies (yet again) and eventually gives us another attempt at the Needle Highway at the Black Hills in SD.

At least, that's the rough draw for this trip at the moment. The reporting from the road may look a bit different this time, though.

While we'll be trackable via GPS signal, we also have the video situation under control and can shoot still images while riding. Both should make for some decent documentation along the way. Of course, my trusty Canon 7D comes with me and will (hopefully) provide some of the more artsy shots along the way.

Currently, we're planning the trip for the end of August, going into the beginning of September.
